Claude & AI Consulting

Claude & AI consulting
for Salesforce teams.

Your team keeps hearing about Claude and Claude Code. Perhaps someone has already experimented with it. But nobody can answer the practical questions: what should we actually use it for, how do we keep it safe, and how do we make it stick beyond one enthusiast's laptop?

Most AI adoption fails the same way most CRM adoption fails — a tool arrives before anyone has defined the job it is there to do. Licences get bought, novelty wears off, and six months later nothing has changed.

I use Claude Code every working day to deliver Salesforce consulting — health checks, org analysis, reporting. This page describes how I help other teams do the same.

Independent, senior-led, and grounded in daily use — not a partnership badge.

What does a Claude Code consultant actually do?

A Claude Code consultant works out which of your team's tasks Claude can genuinely take on, sets the tool up with sensible permissions and guardrails, builds reusable skills for the work that repeats, and trains your people to run it without a consultant in the room. The goal is capability that stays after the engagement ends.

In practice, that starts with a short discovery: where does your team lose hours to repetitive, rules-based work? For Salesforce teams, the usual suspects are org documentation, data quality checks, report compilation, and pre-release reviews. We rank those by volume and risk, then automate the ones where the maths works.

What I will not do is sell you automation for a job you do twice a month, or hand over a black box nobody understands. Everything is built in the open, documented in plain English, and owned by you.

How does Claude fit into Salesforce work?

Claude Code connects to a Salesforce org through the Salesforce CLI — no hardcoded credentials — and can query data, read metadata, analyse automation inventories, and generate structured reports. It works for the consultant or admin operating on the org, which makes it complementary to Agentforce and Einstein, Salesforce's AI for end users inside the platform.

This is not theoretical for us. JourneyForce's own Salesforce health checks run on Claude skills we built: authentication via the CLI, org discovery, analysis queries covering field completion, duplicate rates, adoption, and pipeline velocity, then consistent structured reporting. The mechanics that used to consume days of a health check now take hours, and the consultant's time goes into interpretation and advice — the part clients are actually paying for.

We wrote the approach up in a three-part series on the blog, including the lessons: respect SOQL governor limits, give the skill interpretive context rather than bare queries, and keep strategy decisions with the human.

What does Claude AI consulting cost in the UK?

JourneyForce's published entry points are fixed-price: a 90-minute Getting Started with Claude session at £395 +VAT, and a half-day team workshop at £750 +VAT where we build three or four of your real tasks together. Longer engagements for Salesforce teams are scoped individually after a free initial conversation.

The intro session gets Claude set up on your machines and working on your own jobs — whole team welcome. The half-day workshop goes deeper: we pick real tasks from your backlog, build them with Claude during the session, and leave the prompts and written instructions behind so the work carries on without us.

For Salesforce teams who want Claude Code embedded in their delivery workflow — skills for org analysis, review pipelines, documentation — the scope depends on your org and your team, so we price it per engagement rather than pretending one number fits everyone. No subscriptions, no lock-in.

How do we get started with Claude in our business?

Start small and concrete: pick one recurring task, get Claude doing it well with guardrails, and prove the value before widening scope. The failure mode is the opposite — a broad 'AI strategy' with no working example behind it. One task done properly builds the confidence and the internal skills for the next ten.

A typical first engagement runs: a conversation about where the hours go; a setup session with permissions and safety rails agreed up front (what Claude may read, what it may change, what always needs a human); one or two working automations built with your team watching; and a written handover.

If your ambition for AI is bigger than tooling — models trained on your customer data, AI-driven forecasting — the honest first step is usually a look at your data foundations. That is what our Data Readiness Assessment covers, and it pairs naturally with this service.

Why choose an independent consultancy for Claude?

JourneyForce is an independent consultancy specialising in Claude and Claude Code — not affiliated with, endorsed by, or certified by Anthropic, and not reselling anything. That independence means the advice is only ever about what works for your team: if Claude is the wrong tool for a job, we say so.

You also get the same senior-led model as the rest of our practice: the person you speak to first is the person who delivers the work. Fifteen-plus years of Salesforce delivery means the Claude advice is grounded in how consulting and admin work actually gets done, not in demos.

Questions people ask first

What is a Claude Code consultant?
A Claude Code consultant helps businesses adopt Claude Code — Anthropic's agentic coding and automation tool — safely and productively. That covers identifying the tasks worth automating, setting up Claude Code with the right permissions and guardrails, building reusable skills for recurring work, and training the team to run it themselves.
Is JourneyForce affiliated with Anthropic?
No. JourneyForce is an independent UK consultancy specialising in Claude and Claude Code. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or certified by Anthropic. Claude is a product of Anthropic; our expertise comes from using it daily in real Salesforce delivery work.
How much does Claude AI consulting cost in the UK?
JourneyForce publishes fixed prices for its entry points: a 90-minute Getting Started with Claude session at £395 +VAT and a half-day team workshop at £750 +VAT. Larger engagements — embedding Claude Code into a Salesforce team's delivery workflow — are scoped individually after a free initial conversation.
Can Claude work with Salesforce?
Yes. Claude Code connects to a Salesforce org through the Salesforce CLI: it can run SOQL queries, review metadata, analyse field usage and automation inventories, and produce structured reports. It complements — rather than replaces — Salesforce's own AI (Agentforce and Einstein), which serves end users inside the platform.
Do we need developers on staff to use Claude Code?
No. Claude Code is most powerful in technical hands, but admins and analysts get real value from it too — org documentation, data quality checks, report building. We tailor the setup to your team's skill level and leave written instructions so the work continues after we leave.
